I must admit that I usually find that books of this nature tend to be a bore due to being written in a dry or textbook-like manner. That being said, I can say that “The Influencing & Negotiation Secret” is far from this and I found it easy to read and understand due to the straightforward, smooth manner of the writing style.I was also glad to find that the author includes real-life examples. This helps give the book a strong practical foundation and helped me visualize the techniques in a realistic setting.
Overall, I am very impressed and I will certainly be keeping much of what I learned from this book mind in the future, especially the chapter regarding the Three Phases of negotiation. Highly recommended!

This book started off a little differently than I expected, with the author defining the different types of leadership and how to go about achieving what type of leader you want to be. There are pros and cons to each one, of course, but it was nice to see how each of them worked and how I, as a person of influence, could use them effectively and to my advantage.
The book has other things that you would expect in it too, of course, such as mock conversations and tips here and there that really help to enhance the reader's experience and to help solidify what is being taught. The author not only gives us the necessary details to help us be successful in influencing others, regardless of how intimidating he or she may be, he does it without adding extra and unneeded 'fluff' to thicken the pages. Highly recommended.
