The book wasn't what I was expecting. The love story was nice, but a little too much details. And it got kinda wierd with the haunting stuff. I did like the characters and could follow the story. At the very beginning I noticed a lot of details, but I am not sure that all of it was needed. Kinda like trying to write extra words for a school SA or something. I would try another book by this auther, but not sure I could recommend this book.Product details

'For the Love of 'Lisa 'follows a couple, Lisa and Greg, and their daughter, Maggie, as they buy the Victorian House of their dreams. Strange occurrences, such as a blood-like substance appearing in the hallway, have Greg spooked, but he soon forgets about it after Lisa is diagnosed with a terminal illness. When Lisa passes, she has a request for her best friend, but the request seems to anger whatever is haunting the house. Greg and his new lady friend take it upon themselves to investigate the strange occurrences. Will they find out what is causing problems?
I ended up really enjoying this book. I'm not usually fond of mysteries or horror stories, because I am a huge wimp, but this was just scary enough. There were some minor issues, like a few grammatical errors, but everything else was well done. The biggest problem I had with 'For the Love of Lisa' was that sometimes the descriptive sentences were redundant. For example, when Norse describes the love scenes with Greg and Lisa, sometimes she has written something like, "Greg did not want his emotions to get the better of him, but emotions were rising." Sometimes I felt the plot started going in odd directions, but just as I wondered where Norse was going with it, all of my questions were answered and things got back on track. Overall, this book was well-written and enjoyable, especially if you like a good mystery. 3 stars!

"For the Love of Lisa" by Callie Norse was a good read especially if you are into
paranormal and horror stories. We find the Carrington family having been blessed with it all until the move into "their Victorian dream home, everything changes and not for the better." Certain occurrences has started happening since they moved into this place...that Greg Carrington begins to think that this house was haunted...and now his wife had become sick... and even the daughter has become "obsessed with the sewing room where she reads aloud, sings and talks to present only she can see." So, what is going on in this place? Now, this is where you will have to pick up this read to find out the what, where, how and who of it all especially as Greg decides to sell this house. Be ready for many twist and turns that you will find yourself not wanting to put this novel down especially when all of the creepiness comes in and definitely the surprises.
I found that "For the Love of Lisa" to be a well written read with some very intriguing characters that will were all captivating and if you like mystery then this novel is for you.
The story line of this book is so amazing it will touch your heart!. It is so sad and touching it brought tears to my eyes. The characters are amazing. Greg and Lisa have been in love sense high school . They are married with a six year old daughter Maggie . They live in an apartment and wish to find a house so their family can grow. Greg and Lisa find a Victorian house on the edge of town. They are so happy they found their dream home. It even has a carriage house where Greg can have a work shop. Things seem to be going ok till Lisa smells baby powder then dreams of hearing a baby crying. Greg find a puddle of what looks like blood in the carriage house then in the mudroom of the house. After that Lisa starts feeling sick at first she thinks she is pregnant but soon finds out it is far worse. This is when I almost broke down crying when reading this book!. In this book you will find mystery, sadness, humor, and steamy hot romance! This is a must read touching Romance!
This was a great book. Really enjoyed all the twists and turns to the story line. It was well written and made me want to read the next book. I became very interested in all the characters in the story.
Just okay. The story was sweet but because of the way it was written I didn't feel the characters emotions. The ghost stuff was spooky good .
This is a must read! All the twists and turns, the ups and downs-hard to put "For the Love of Lisa" down. A page-turner! Callie is one to love and watch. You will love the Carrington family and the Victorian home full of surprises!
